My First Attempt at Digital Photography

This was my first attempt at doing Macro photography when I first got my digital camera. I always had the itch to get behind the lens and capture something spectacular in nature and compose it such a that its beautify is magnified to generate emotions with stronger commitment to nature.

I captured this image at the backyard of my apartment. It was fall season and I was just looking for something to try out with my digital camera. Something closeup with blurred background. The light was perfect because it was cloudy and so that colors were really enhanced. A dont recall where the rose petal came from but I believe it fell from one of the trees. I thought to myself this is the perfect depiction of fall. So I took my camera, adjusted the settings to Av, opened it as much as I could, zoomed in a little and snapped it.

Lens: Canon EF-S 18-55 mm
Settings: Av
Flash: None
Zoom: Dont remember
